We raised £431 for Breast Cancer Research🎗💖
We dedicated our first 3 weeks of October to raising awareness and funds for Breast Cancer Awareness. Throughout the month, our players have sported pink outfits during training sessions to show our support for this important cause.
We also organized a special charity social on Wednesday, October 16th, where we raised £431 from ticket sales, all to be donated to breast cancer charities. Not only was this a fantastic opportunity to engage with other teams, but also contributing to vital research and support services for those affected by breast cancer.
Our plans for Operation Christmas Child🎗🎁
Sunday 20th October - Thursday 21st November
Another of our key initiatives this month has been planning our November charity Event for Operation Christmas Child 🎗. We believe in giving back, and this charity is a fantastic way to spread joy and support children in need around the world. Our Netball players and supporters have been raising money and collecting items for shoeboxes filled with gifts for underprivileged children.
Our aim is to send 30 boxes to children all over the world for Christmas - that's 1.5 classrooms full of children opening gifts! We are running this charity event until mid November so you have left plenty of time to spread the word!
We’re eager to make a difference to those less fortunate, so if you can, donate today and be the reason that a child smiles on Christmas Day. We'll be keeping our fundraising updated on our instagram so don't forget to follow us.
Movember 💙
As November arrives, we find ourselves at a crossroads...
Movember is as a powerful reminder that beneath the strength and resilience, vulnerability often hides in the hearts of men. In a world that celebrates the stoic man, too many suffer in silence under societal expectations that expect they remain tough and unyielding. But this month challenges that narrative, inviting us to step forward and embrace the courage found in honesty.
Movember is an emotional journey-a collective stand against isolation and despair, reminding us that true strength lies in openness. As we embark on this month, let the world not only grow moustaches but also grow their hearts, reaching out, listening, and advocating for the wellbeing of men around us.
We honour those fighting these battles.
We stand and commemorate those who lost their battle.
We support each other to break the stigma around men's health.
Together, we can make a difference. Let's unite in November for Movember to champion men's health and make a lasting impact. Whether you grow a moustache, exercise, educate, or fundraise...
EVERY. ACTION. COUNTS.
